In a rat-infested suburb, residents gather after one of their children was bitten. The image of this child, a rat dangling from his bloodied hand, lingers in everyone’s mind. What should be done? From this initial question—“How can we eradicate the rats that have invaded us?”—arises a collective reflection on the responsibility of those in power, their own invisibility in the eyes of decision-makers, and on the rats themselves: who are really the pests to whom? 

The objectives of the residency

 The premiere of this show is scheduled for May 2026. The company is at full strength to stage the script on the street, finalize the staging of the stationary first act, and conduct extensive technical tests (sound, lighting, and pyrotechnics) for the second, roaming part of the show.
The residency concludes with a public performance of *Bruit de la rue*.
